Jane Resh Thomas is the author of more than 15 books for children. She guided children's literature enthusiasts in the Upper Midwest for 25 years with her reviews of children's literature for the Minneapolis StarTribune. She teaches writing in Hamline University's MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults, as well as conducting writing workshops in Minnesota. An accomplished editor, she is often asked to work with authors before manuscripts are submitted to publishers.

Jane is the recipient of the 2001 Kerlan Award for her contributions to children's literature and the 2006 Minnesota Book Award for Counterfeit Princess.
